When you’re not ridin’ at The Rockin’ R, there are plenty of other things to do!
Grab your fishin’ gear and head on down to the fishin’ hole located out yonder! Filled with loads of Catfish and Bluegill, you’ll be certain to enjoy the relaxing atmosphere The Rockin’ R has to offer. If you’re lookin’ to go out on the big waters, the gang at The Rockin’ R will certainly assist you in finding a charter boat or other fishing sites!
If you’re more of the athletic type, slip out of yer cowboy boots and into yer tennis and head on down to our basketball court right next to our playground and shoot some hoops!
After a long hot horseback ride, coolin’ off is what the wranglers at The Rockin’ R really enjoy doing. With Bear Lake just down the road and the sandy beaches of Lake Michigan only minutes away there is plenty of water to cool off in while staying at The Rockin’ R!
If canoeing or tubing is your choice of fun, the Platte River is just up the road! A river that offers different levels of expertise and another view of Northern Michigans beauty!
Another favorite pastime of the gang at The Rockin’ R is headin’ over to the High Noon Saloon to just hang out and relax while watching the big-screen TV and enjoying the beauty of the fireplace. The High Noon does not serve alcoholic beverages but if you prefer, you may bring your own!
The hombres in the High Noon Saloon like playin’ cards and gamblin’. If you enjoy doing the same, Little River Casino is only 15 minutes down the trail! Or, the bright lights of Traverse City is only 45 minutes down the trail!
